What is a Blog?

Plain and simple; A blog is like an upside down website, the recent posts are at the top of the main page and the older posts towards the bottom (chronological order).

The word blog is a shortened version of “web log” a phrase that’s not really used these days. In the simplest definition, a blog is a log of your advice, thoughts, the latest news, ideas, useful links, knowledge, photos, or videos.

Blogs are usually updated a couple of times a week, most blogs are normally written about a certain topic, they can range from making money online to how to drop a dress size. There is always a market for whatever topic you choose to write (blog) about.

The difference between a blog and a static website are search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing just loves blogs and if you ever wanted to be at the top of the search engines, a blog is the way to achieve this.

  • Widgets: Are blog applications used to customize the appearance and content of your blog.
  • SEO: Search Engine Optimization (Promote your blog to increase your search engine rankings).
